Civil Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support civil engineering projects from concept through construction, including risk management, bidding, and final closeout.

Design site layouts, grading plans, utility systems, stormwater management, and erosion control measures using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Prepare detailed design documents, engineering calculations, technical reports, and permit applications.

Collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.

Assist with permitting processes at local, state, and federal levels.

Support construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs, conducting site inspections, and preparing as-built drawings.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or a related field.

3+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably with local project exposure.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.

Strong technical skills in stormwater design, grading, and utility layout.

Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Valid driver's license with the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
