Maintenance MechanicCharlotte, NC, USAAbout the Job Maintenance MechanicWe are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Maintenance Mechanic to join our industrial team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance to ensure the reliable operation of facility equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in mechanical systems and trades such as welding, pipefitting, fabrication, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform industrial maintenance tasks including inspection, repair, and troubleshootingUse tools such as hand tools, power tools, and precision instrumentsWork with systems involving pumps, gearboxes, bearings, lubrication, and pipingRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manualsOperate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial liftsAccurately document maintenance activities using computer softwareFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth facility operationsPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenanceAble to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spacesComfortable working in various indoor/outdoor environments (heat, cold, noise, dust)Ability to work in elevated areas and with PPEWilling to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as neededPreferred QualificationsTrade school certification or military technical experienceExperience in multiple trades: welding, electrical, pipefitting, hydraulics, etc.Familiarity with safe work practices (e.g., hazard analysis, confined space entry)Experience with laser alignment, dial indicators, or other precision maintenance toolsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription InsurancePaid Vacation and HolidaysLife and Disability InsuranceEmployee Discounts and Wellness IncentivesAdditional InformationNo relocation assistance providedInterview travel reimbursement availableCandidates may receive a phone call from a (952) area codeEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/VeteranJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
