In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, we’d like to hear from you! Baking Excellence Measure and shape breads, loaves, and pastries Bake, and/or fry prepared items Place toppings, decorate pastries and breads Training & Support Demonstrate proper techniques to new bakers & support staff Complete various reports such as production, usage, and waste Workspace Environment Prepare all needed materials and ingredients Receive, stock, & store food in designated storage areas Clean, organize & maintain your workspace Support team members, where needed NOTE: This role typically requires early morning availability (shifts range from 2am/3am - 7am start times) Qualifications Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment Knowledge of food safety practices Food Handler’s Certificate preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Team player Available for early morning shifts Ability to lift 25 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr
