dell driving technician/field service technician Overview Title: Desktop Support/Field Service Technician/Computer Driving Technician Location: Kansas City, KS (and other US locations) Type: Long term Contract / Contract to permanent Responsibilities Travel to various customer sites from the pickup parts location to provide on-site service (drive personal vehicle). Repair/troubleshoot/perform break-fix on computers/desktops/laptops/printers at business offices and residences. Use your own car to travel within a 50–70 mile radius from the pickup location. Work primarily on Dell products; prior Dell product experience is a plus. Be professional in communication and attire. Be prepared for overtime and extensive driving (approximately 300 miles per week). Qualifications A+ Certification mandatory (training/expired status accepted). Dell or other product manufacturer certifications are a plus. Strong experience with laptops and desktops; break/fix experience required. Additional information Background check and driving record review after job offer. Dell certifications training online and completion of certifications (free). Contract terms as per company policy. Pay is biweekly for approved hours; mileage reimbursement available. Plan for a backup vehicle in case of car breakdown. #J-18808-Ljbffr
