Job Summary

We are seeking a CNC Machinist 2nd Shift for a direct hire opportunity with a stable precision manufacturing team in Orlando, FL. This role is ideal for a machinist with experience in CNC milling, CNC lathe, ProtoTRAK conversational milling, or grinding who enjoys hands-on setup, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality precision parts.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills, CNC lathes, ProtoTRAK milling machines, or grinding equipment.
- Perform complete machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and work coordinate setup to support efficient production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements to produce parts to specification.
- Write, edit, or troubleshoot G-code and M-code programs , and program or edit ProtoTRAK conversational controls when applicable.
- Run first articles, inspect finished parts, and make adjustments to maintain tight print tolerances.
- Complete production documentation, maintain a clean and safe work area, and communicate production status, tooling needs, and quality concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour (base pay: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour shift differential)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM.
- Optional overtime available.
