Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of refrigeration systems, facility infrastructure, and distribution center equipment within a temperature-controlled warehouse environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting product quality, and minimizing downtime across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration systems, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment to support continuous operations.
• Ensure facility infrastructure is maintained, including general building upkeep and basic construction tasks such as drywall, framing, and painting.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to meet operational needs and maintain product quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues efficiently.
• Build, repair, and maintain storage systems, including pallet racking, CFR racking, and shelving.
• Partner with external contractors to support maintenance activities and ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain safe, compliant, and well-functioning equipment and facility conditions.

• HVAC certification required.
• Previous refrigeration experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehousing required.
• Previous general maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of building trades (drywall, framing, electrical, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license required.

• Experience with mechanical, conveyor systems, and conveyor belts.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, hydraulics, and repair.

Work Environment

The role requires working Sunday to Thursday, starting at 8am. It involves working in a warehouse and refrigerated environment at approximately 34&degree;F, performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Sewell, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $74880.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Sewell,NJ.
