CLient is looking for a Business Analyst III to support Gas Engineering and Operations . The role will focus on financial analysis, capital planning, budgeting, reporting, and business analysis. Key Responsibilities
Best Candidate: Someone with strong SAP + financial analysis + capital planning/budgeting + Excel experience, preferably with utility, energy, engineering, or gas operations experience.
CLient is looking for a Business Analyst III to support Gas Engineering and Operations . The role will focus on financial analysis, capital planning, budgeting, reporting, and business analysis. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational data to support business and engineering decisions.
- Work with SAP and financial records to gather and analyze data.
- Support capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting .
- Develop financial models and perform cost, variance, risk, and investment analysis.
- Track capital expenditures, project costs, invoices, and budgets.
- Prepare reports, metrics, and financial analysis for management.
- Support rate case filings, regulatory requests, audits, and financial reporting .
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Regulatory teams .
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity in SAP and other financial systems.
- Participate in monthly budget review meetings and cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field .
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, engineering, or operations.
- Strong SAP experience.
- Strong Excel/Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
