RN – CVICU (Contract) – 13 Weeks

Location: California 95240
Pay: $2,473 – $2,770/week
Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12s (36–48 hours/week)
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Note: Auto Offer

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Provide critical care nursing using the nursing process
Monitor, assess, and manage CVICU patients
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
Administer treatments and educate patients/families
Delegate tasks and support unit workflow

Requirements

Education & Experience

BSN (Preferred)
Acute care experience (Preferred)

Licensure & Certifications

Active California RN license (Required)
BLS/CPR certification (Required)

Unit Details

Unit: CVICU (10 beds)
Ratios: 2:1
Charting System: Cerner
Medication System: Pyxis
Call: Not required
Float: To MS/Tele and assist in ED
Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts in a 6-week period
Scheduling: Self-scheduling
Support Services:
- Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, Unit Secretary: 24/7
- Intensivist: 12-hour coverage
- Hospitalist: 24/7
