Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Temecula, CA

Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry on a contract assignment. In this fast-paced, trauma level II environment, you'll treat a diverse patient population aged 15 years and older, utilizing state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and collaborating closely with an expert clinical team.


Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts available: Day Shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) or Night Shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am)
• Rotation schedule every 6 weeks
• Weekend commitment: 2 full weekends or 4 weekend days per schedule cycle

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Adaptable to float as needed, including coverage at nearby facilities
• Experience with patient ratios of 4:1 for Telemetry, 5:1 for Med/Surg
• Comfortable using documentation systems other than Cerner
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with varying levels of acuity
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain detailed, accurate records in accordance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and revise individualized patient care plans
• Float between similar units as staffing needs require
