Certified Medication TechnicianAs the Care Giver/Medication Technician, your role includes providing hands-on care, administering medications, and offering physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.Position highlights:Status: FULL TIME / PART TIME / PRNSchedule: VARIED / INCLUDES SOME WEEKENDSLocation: 1750 YARDVILLE HAMILTON SQ. RD., HAMILTON NJ 08690Rate of Pay: STARTING AT $23/HOURWhat you'll do:Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed dosesMonitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being.Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces.Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems.Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition.Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Certified Medication Technician required with CHHA or CNAHigh school diploma or GED requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageCPR and First Aid certification preferredPrevious experience working with seniors preferredStrong communication, organizational, and customer service skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgmentBenefits you'll enjoy:Competitive wagesEarly access to earned wages before payday!Flexible scheduling options with full-time and part-time hoursPaid time off and Holidays (full-time)Comprehensive benefit package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurances (full-time)401(K) with employer matchPaid trainingOpportunities for growth and advancementCompany provided uniformsEmployee Assistance ProgramWhy join us:Discovery Senior Living earned coveted Great Place to Work Certification for 2025-2026!
