Senior Job Cost Accountant (Fort Lauderdale)

A South Florida General Contractor is hiring a Senior Job Cost Accountant to manage multiple construction projects in different phases. From inception to completion, processing all project financial aspects.

Role Description & Responsibilities: Full-time, on-site role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

♦ AR

♦ AP

♦ Maintain aging receivables/payables

♦ Training and assistance – Project Analyst

♦ Process vendor invoices through Textura

♦ Process owner draws from preparation through payment

♦ Project Budget Management

♦ All subcontracts and POs

♦ Change orders

♦ NTO and releases

♦ Preparation for and presentation at monthly Owner Financial meetings

Qualifications

♦ Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting

♦ Minimum of 4 years’of accounting experience

♦ 4+ years’ experience in the Construction Industry

♦ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

♦ Good verbal and written communication skills

♦ CCIFP is a plus

♦ Computer skills: Advanced Word and Excel. Experience with SAGE Intacct, Textura, and Procore is a plus
