Part-Time Phlebotomist

Part-Time PhlebotomistIVI RMA North America is looking for a Part-Time Phlebotomist to work in our new Paramus location opening in the fall. Training will start off in our Englewood location. This is a part-time role working Monday-Friday from 5:30am-11:30am with rotating holidays and weekends.This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.Essential Functions and Accountabilities:Properly identifies patients.Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.Academic Training:Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).Studies level: CertificationStudies area: Phlebotomy ProgramPosition Requirements/Experience:3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - requiredMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional eveningsTechnical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - requiredElectronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - requiredAbout IVI-RMA Global:IVI-RMA is the largest group in the world devoted exclusively to human Assisted Reproduction Technology.
