Parker Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, Days 7am 7pm Medical Surgical department highlights: Med/surg Telemetry (29 Beds)- Medical Surgical patients and patients on Cardiac Telemetry. We take a wide variety of patients which includes telemetry, post cath management, some cardiac drips etc. Ratio is 1:5 but occasionally goes up to 6 on night shift. This unit has high patient satisfaction and employee engagement scores.

Qualifications

Here's What You Need: Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire BCLS upon hire expiration date greater than 3 months preferred ACLS -within 90 days required CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 60 days of hire 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required One (1) year of RN experience in Med/surg Tele strongly preferred What You Will Do: Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process assesses the patient plans the care of the patient intervenes as appropriate evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
