School-Based SLP | Brockton, Massachusetts

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding an SLP-CCC certification to provide specialized support in an educational setting. This contract role focuses on delivering exceptional speech and language services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade.


Position Details:

• Location: Brockton, MA
• Contract duration: July 6, 2025, through August 7, 2025
• Hours: 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Grade levels: K-12

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with various communication needs in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to tailor interventions that promote effective communication and academic success.
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
• Utilize Safe Care techniques when applicable, with certification preferred to enhance service safety and quality.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 settings.
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders and best therapeutic practices.
• Safe Care certification is preferred, highlighting expertise in student safety and crisis management during therapy.
