Project Manager

Build Your Career with Scale Construction Scale Construction is seeking a Project Manager to support and lead commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Chicagoland area. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects, develop leadership skills, and grow within a respected, family-owned construction company. What You'll Do Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and project documentation Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reporting Ensure projects are delivered safely, with a high level of quality, on schedule, and within budget Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders Support business development efforts and client interactions Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture What We're Looking For 5+ years of construction project management experience Experience with commercial and/or industrial construction projects Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and subcontractor management Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Ability to work both in the office and on project sites throughout Chicagoland Performance bonus opportunity 401(k) with company contribution HSA Program Paid Time Off Professional development and advancement opportunities About Scale Construction For more than 35 years , Scale Construction has built a reputation for excellence through quality workmanship, strong client relationships, and a commitment to delivering projects safely and efficiently.
