Northwell/Nuvance Health is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for Call Coverage at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. A Level II, American College of Surgeons–verified Trauma Center. Multidisciplinary trauma team includes board-certified trauma surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, emergency medicine physicians, anesthesiologists, radiologists, critical care specialists, nurses, and rehabilitation experts. Provides 24-hour immediate coverage to assess and treat patients according to national guidelines. Comprehensive approach includes Rapid Assessment & Stabilization, Advanced Diagnostics & Imaging, Life-Saving Surgical Interventions, Comprehensive Orthopedic Trauma Care, and Seamless Transition to Rehabilitation. Compensation Compensation for this position is a competitive $1,700 for a 24-hour non-restricted call shift.
