STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Staff AccountantStaff Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting function through preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analyses, and month-end close activities. This position works closely with other accounting team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare monthly journal entries accurately and timelyReconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances as neededMaintain supporting documentation and workpapersAssist with month-end and year-end closing activitiesSupport external audit requests and regulatory reporting schedulesSupport annual budgeting activities and financial analysisAssist with special projects and process improvementsEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.Experience and Skills:1-3 years of accounting experienceKnowledge of GAAP and financial reportingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applicationsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage confidential information and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred:Healthcare accounting or finance experienceExperience with ERP and financial reporting systemsFamiliarity with month-end close and account reconciliations
