Project Engineer Intern

Construction Project Engineer InternProvides administrative, coordination, and project support to the project team while gaining practical experience in commercial construction management.How You'll ContributeCollect, review, process, and distribute submittals and requests for information (RFIs).Prepare and distribute project documentation, meeting minutes, correspondence, and project communications.Assist with bid package coordination, quote coverage, project billings, and draws.Maintain accurate project files and logs, including permits, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation.Support Project Managers with schedule updates, cost tracking, and day-to-day project management activities.Participate in site walks, safety inspections, quality observations, and project team meetings.Coordinate with trade partners, design partners, and internal team members under the direction of the project team.Travel to project jobsites and regional offices as assigned.Intern QualificationsPursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related fields.Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, or construction management systems is a plus.Strong written communication, organization, proofreading, and follow-through skills.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned jobsites.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsThis internship may include office work, active job site visits, travel between offices or projects, extended periods of sitting or standing, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs or ladders, and use of required personal protective equipment.
