Data Entry and Quality Control Specialist-1

Overview Datacomp is looking to fill an open position in our Data Entry and Quality Assurance department. We are part of a family of business units including MHVillage.com, Datacomp Appraisal Systems, Datacomp/JLT, and MHInsider. Our work supports the manufactured housing industry. The Data Entry/Quality Analysis role is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The position requires a 40-hour work week and offers the opportunity to develop a career in a niche real estate market. Responsibilities Review information submitted by field inspectors, perform quality control checks, and enter data into the appraisal software system. Decode handwritten notes from inspectors when necessary and contact inspectors to obtain missing information. Verify data using Google Maps and real estate listings to support accuracy of inspection reports. Collaborate with the appraisal team to produce appraisal reports based on reviewed data. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide guidance to field inspectors to ensure proper paperwork submission. Problem-solver with a can-do attitude. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new information, processes, and systems. Consistent record of punctuality and reliable attendance, with the ability to adhere to assigned work schedules and arrive on time. Ability to work 40 hours a week, five 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday. Must be 18+ years of age. Proficiency with Gmail, including Google Sheets and Docs.
