Phlebotomist Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Elgin IL 60123. Schedule: Monday: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM Tuesday: 10:00 AM 7:30 PM Wednesday: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM Thursday: 12:00 PM 8:30 PM Friday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM (40 hours per week) Location: Elgin IL 60123 Job Type: local contract Contract Length: 5 months+ Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Duties: Performed venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and adult blood collections while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collected, labeled, processed, and prepared specimens for laboratory testing, maintaining specimen integrity and following quality standards. Verified patient identification, obtained required documentation, and maintained accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Traveled between multiple Patient Service Centers (PSCs), physician offices, and client locations to provide phlebotomy support as needed. Delivered excellent patient care while working independently in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety, infection control, and organizational protocols.
