Position: Sr Salesforce QA Analyst Location: Old Post Office, Chicago, IL – hybrid 3 days Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend Visa Restrictions: None Additional Requirements: Local only – no relocation. Must provide driver's license copy via video at submission and share live location at time of submission. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud implementations Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or other tools Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, flows, Apex code, and integrations with external systems Ensure data integrity and accuracy through effective test data management practices, including creation, masking, and refresh strategies Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for timely resolution Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide quality-related input during sprint planning and backlog refinement Support release planning by executing smoke tests and production validation activities Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality engineering and automation Continuously improve QA processes, standards, and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency Track and report all results, problems, and defects using Azure DevOps Represent testing team and review use cases and other requirement documentation to prepare test cases Provide valuable input on process improvements Qualifications & Experience At least 6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a minimum of 3 years testing Salesforce applications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including standard objects, custom objects, flows, validation rules, and integrations Experience creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for core Salesforce functionality Proficiency in SOQL for backend data validation and data integrity checks across objects Hands‑on experience with API testing (REST) using Postman or similar tools Experience with API automation (e.g., RestSharp, RestAssured) Familiarity with Salesforce sandbox environments, release cycles, and deployment processes Knowledge of defect logging and tracking using Azure DevOps, Jira, GitHub Enterprise, or similar platforms Proficient in object‑oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) for Salesforce UI testing Experience working with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow or Cucumber Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, developers, and business analysts Ability to validate end‑to‑end workflows, data flows, and system integrations with upstream and downstream systems Experience with test data management and data validation within Salesforce environments In‑depth understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security concepts Additional Skills Knowledge of Salesforce‑specific testing challenges, including multi‑org environments and complex integrations Experience with API testing tools and techniques (REST/SOAP validation) Strong understanding of test data management concepts and best practices Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobs via Dice
