Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Major FunctionAbility to assemble, spray paint, dynamic balance and acceptance test various complex components from blue prints and process books.Hand tools both power and manual are used along with measuring equipment such as gauges and indicators.Specific ResponsibilitiesObtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gagingSprays partsPerforms Pressure TestPerforms sandblasting functionsPerforms assembly functionsPerforms functions of Assembler-Service RepairPerforms balancer functionsPerforms test functionsPerforms in-process inspection as a certified operatorPerforms prepackaging (dow, cap, tag & bag)Performs computer transactions Moves parts to, from, within moduleCleans machinesGeneral housekeepingProvides direction to Module Support TechThis is a 2nd Shift position. Working hours are: Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PMKnowledge/Education/ExperienceMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background, and demonstration of basic educational competencies (reading, writing).Blueprint and routing reading and comprehensionCompetent with hand tools and experienced with measuring equipmentBasic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrievalObtain certifications and qualifications required to perform jobTeam CompetenciesAction Oriented: Enjoys working hard and does what is necessary to get the job done; energetic and enthusiastic for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum amount of planning; seizes more opportunities than others.
