Job Description

Laborers and concrete finishers play a crucial role in both residential and commercial construction projects by preparing sites and ensuring quality concrete surfaces. Working primarily in small, local teams, these professionals handle various equipment ranging from basic hand tools to advanced finishing machinery to deliver durable and smooth finishes.

Responsibilities

Pour concrete accurately and efficiently
Perform surface finishing to achieve smooth and leveled concrete
Prepare construction sites for concrete work
Handle materials safely and effectively
Operate hand tools, power tools, and advanced finishing equipment
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of tools and work areas

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in concrete finishing
Knowledge of mixing and pouring concrete
Proficiency with finishing tools and equipment
Commitment to safety compliance on site
Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks
Ability to collaborate effectively within small teams
