Registered Nurse - Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, weekdays, and every other weekend.

Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced telemetry unit. The RN is responsible for monitoring cardiac telemetry patients, performing assessments, coordinating care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
• Perform daily assessments and update care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid West Virginia or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
