Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage and maintain financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting overall financial operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Maintain general ledger and financial records
• Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Monitor cash flow and track company expenses
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
• Collaborate with accountants or auditors during financial reviews
• Process payroll and assist with payroll reporting
• Prepare sales tax data and filings as needed
• Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting processes
• Maintain organized and secure financial documentation

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred)
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in accounting software - QuickBooks
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
