We're looking for an experienced Advanced Structural BIM Technician who thrives in Revit, enjoys solving complex modeling challenges, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality construction documents.This is more than a production role. You'll be a key contributor to project delivery, helping coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, improve BIM processes, and mentor fellow technicians while supporting projects that serve healthcare, higher education, K-12, municipal, cultural, and commercial clients.If you're the person others turn to for Revit expertise, model coordination, and finding smarter ways to get things done, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoAs an Advanced Structural BIM Technician, you'll play a critical role in transforming engineering concepts into constructible designs by:Developing and managing detailed Revit models and construction documentsProducing accurate structural drawings and project deliverablesIncorporating redline markups, standard details, and general notes into project documentsLeading BIM modeling efforts and supporting project teams throughout the design processCoordinating with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and consistencyManaging multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standardsPerforming quality assurance and quality control reviewsMaintaining project files, production folders, and document organization in accordance with Datum standardsProviding technical guidance and mentorship to BIM team membersSupporting continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and best practicesAssisting with office operations and special projects as neededWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsAdvanced proficiency with Autodesk RevitStrong understanding of BIM workflows and model managementExperience producing construction documents for commercial building projectsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in structural engineering consultingKnowledge of structural building systems and terminologyExperience coordinating with architectural, MEP, and other design disciplinesAbility to mentor or provide technical direction to othersWhy Datum?At Datum Engineers, you'll be part of a collaborative team that values excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
