Operating Room Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Mid 5x8-Hour shift (15:00 - 23:30). Call required 2 times per schedule.

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will be capable of both circulating and scrubbing in the operating room, with experience in a variety of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Assist with both scrubbing and circulating duties.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams across multiple specialties.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Manage equipment setup and case reviews for upcoming procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care operating room experience.
• Robotic and ENT experience required.
• Experience in ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro procedures required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
• Charge experience preferred.
