Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH Legal Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to join a respected law firm in Orlando, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives and enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of complex commercial and business litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys
• Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials
• File documents in Florida state and federal courts, including electronic filings
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and scheduling
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparations
• Organize and maintain case files and litigation databases
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors
• Assist with document production, trial binders, and exhibit preparation
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant experience
• Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
• Experience supporting attorneys in commercial, business, or complex litigation matters
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
