Director, Gameplay Analytics

About the Role SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms. The Manager of Analytics will play a key role in product management, using advanced analytics and statistical tools to provide insights, recommendations and support data‑driven decisions. Essential Job Functions Manage the Product Analysts team, delivering actionable conclusions and insights Recruit, train and coach team members, fostering a motivated and exploratory environment Create a solid and productive work relationship with the product and studio departments: product managers, monetization, game economy, VIP, data science, BI, etc. Plan and manage the A/B test method, roadmap, and execution Establish, analyze, implement, execute and validate complex statistical models and segmentations to support and improve decision‑making Consistently monitor the product KPIs to ensure its health and drive the product focus Lead data‑driven meetings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis with various stakeholders, including senior management Leverage multiple massive and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, opportunities, and threats to the product Own and lead multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and results‑oriented environment Initiate, design, and own reports, custom tools, and automation processes Collaborate with different departments in SciPlay: Data Science, BI Development, Data Engineering, Finance, VIP, etc. Search constantly for new technologies, tools, and methods to leverage analytics performance and capabilities Qualifications 5+ years of practical analytics experience in big data environments, e‑commerce, gaming, online or telecom industries 3+ years of proven experience as a team/group manager Passion for the gaming industry Strong sense of problem‑solving, conflict management, leadership, responsibility, and professionalism Strong SQL experience, along with a solid understanding of big‑data environments Excellent proficiency in Excel and BI tools; Tableau – advantage Strong understanding of statistical significance, models, and tools; hands‑on experience with Python/R – advantage Outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and critical, business, strategic, and problem‑solving thinking Exceptional approach to data and ability to take a business question, define the analysis method and deliver a high‑level output and present it in a sharp and concise way Self‑learner, multi‑tasking, able to work independently, initiative, highly organized, "can‑do" approach Fluent English – both written and verbal BA in Industrial Engineering / Economics / Statistics or equivalent academic background Benefits Competitive salaries Annual bonuses, matching 401(k) Open office concept with ergonomic seating and standing desks Game Room featuring current generation consoles, numerous game titles, and various table games Fully stocked kitchen with beverages and snacks, as well as company‑paid lunches 2×/week Paid family leave Paid volunteer time Annual 2‑night company retreat SciPlay is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class. #J-18808-Ljbffr
