About Parkwood Behavioral Health System Parkwood Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility) provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid‑South region. Located in Desoto County, Mississippi, approximately 7 miles south of Memphis, the facility offers a 148‑bed inpatient acute and residential care program, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services. Responsibilities Supervise the delivery of nursing care by professional and support nursing staff on a designated unit. Plan, coordinate, and monitor the daily nursing workload, ensuring compliance with policies and quality standards. Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings, patient introductions, and unit huddles. Maintain accurate patient documentation and complete unit reports. Perform clinical care duties as a registered nurse when necessary. Job Details Position: Registered Nurse House Supervisor Employment: Full‑time Schedule: 12‑hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Monday. Education, Licensure, and Certifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi or a multi‑state license approved by NCSBN. Current CPR or BLS certification required. Qualifications and Experience Preferred: One year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health or acute care setting. Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, age‑specific development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
