At Chick-fil-A, the role of a team member in the back of the house is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent owner/operator, back of the house team members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. Responsibilities of back of the house team members:

• The back of the house team member seeks to provide guests with an extraordinary dining experience every day by working as a team to provide each guest with the fastest and highest quality food possible
• Prepares, cooks, and presents food safely, delivering food to our guests in 90 seconds
• Works quickly and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards
• Adheres appropriately to safety standards with equipment, ingredients, and kitchen staff
• Seeks storage and cleaning opportunities to maintain a productive work station. Keeps the kitchen clean, safe, and organized at all times, including floors
• Maintains and develops personal experience with internal training and annual recertification
• Follows company policies and procedures rigorously to produce amazing food, at all times
• Strives for quality and consistency in all aspects of their work
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, courtesy, and hospitality to all
• Can perform multiple tasks while working at a fast, efficient, and complete pace
• Shares and protects the value of our team
• Must be available at least 2 Saturdays a month

Requirements and prerequisites:

• Must be at least 16 years old at the time of hire
• Must have a reliable source of transportation
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, and navigation shelves both high and low
• Works in hot, noisy, and fast-paced environments
• Mobility required during shifts
• Must perform well under pressure
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
• Must have availability on Saturdays
• Must demonstrate the ability to work successfully with a team.

Pay rate:

$15-18/hour for full-time positions: $13.50-15.25/hour for part-time according to availability and experience

Most Chick-fil-A® restaurants are operated by independent franchise business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
