We are seeking a motivated and reliable Receiving Clerk for a position in Hoover, AL. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations, ensuring that incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Receiving Clerk for a position in Hoover, AL. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations, ensuring that incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Count and verify incoming parts and merchandise against purchase orders or shipment documents.
- Organize and put away materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Unload trucks and containers promptly and safely.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required to support team operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations organized.
- Complete reports by entering required information.
- Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space.
- Ability to perform physical tasks: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to accurately count and keep records of parts and shipments.
- Literacy: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Reliability: Proven record of being reliable and punctual.
