Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift position at a Level III trauma center hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System.

Job Details

• Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of the Yale New Haven Health System,
• MRI unit with potential floating between two affiliated facilities as needed,
• 5x8 evening shifts from 2:15 PM to 11:15 PM,
• Rotating weekends and holidays required,
• Charting via Epic,
• Free parking available on-site,

Job Requirements

• ARRT (MRI) certification required; state license required if applicable,
• Current BLS required,
• MRI Technologist experience in an acute care hospital setting,
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted,
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted,
• 1 professional reference required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler,
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved during the assignment,
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
