Job Description
This role involves applying roof coatings and spray foam insulation on large flat commercial roofs using hand tools and spray equipment. You will work as part of a small team on a variety of commercial construction projects, contributing to high-quality roofing and insulation installations.
Responsibilities

• Apply roof coatings on large flat commercial roofs using hand tools and spray equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Apply spray foam insulation on commercial roofing systems according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning, setting up equipment, and ensuring surfaces are ready for coating or insulation.
• Use and maintain hand tools and spray equipment properly to ensure consistent application and product quality.
• Work collaboratively with a small team to complete small and large commercial projects on schedule.
• Follow all safety procedures while working at heights and on commercial job sites.
• Assist with general construction tasks related to roofing and insulation as needed.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in the construction field.
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively in a construction environment.
• Experience working on commercial construction projects.
• Capability to learn and follow instructions for applying roof coatings and spray foam insulation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team on job sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Roofing experience is a plus.
• Experience working on large flat commercial roofs is beneficial.
• Familiarity with spray equipment for coatings or insulation is an advantage.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to grow within a construction-focused role.

Work Environment
You will work in a small, close-knit team on both small and large commercial projects, primarily on large flat commercial roofs. The role is field-based and involves working outdoors on active construction sites, using hand tools and spray equipment for roof coatings and spray foam insulation. The workday typically follows standard construction hours, with tasks performed at heights and in varying weather conditions, requiring appropriate job-site attire and safety gear.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
