About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: Valid State License required (Single State or Multi State) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years work experience in NICU/PICU RRT - Experience with specific patient populations including neonates, infants, and pediatrics - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Description: Candidates will be working in a critical care environment focused on neonates and pediatrics. Must commit to working at least every other Sunday. Requests for time off must be presented upfront and cannot exceed five days total. No block scheduling requests unless for weekends only. Candidates must have experience with various respiratory support devices including vents, high flow, and non-invasive support. Additional skills such as airway clearance techniques and knowledge of special procedures are required. Travelers should expect to float within the facility when necessary. References from recent supervisors are necessary. All candidates must comply with background checks and other employment verification processes. Prior applicants should note that returning staff may have eligibility restrictions.
