Aerospace Blasting Technician
Our client specializes in treating and finishing metal parts for airplanes, spacecraft, the commercial aerospace, defense, space, and satellite industries. They serve prominent clients such as Boeing, the US Army, the aviation industry, and others.
Responsibilities
- Perform surface preparation and cleaning of aerospace components using blasting techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of blasting materials.
- Operate and maintain blasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Document processes and maintain records of blasting operations and materials used.
- Completes paperwork as required by the company and processing guidelines
- Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
Skills
- On-the-job training, no experience required.
- Production or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Must be able to pass drug testing and background checks
- High School Graduate or equivalent
