Details PICU setting at a large academic medical center in North Carolina Pediatric patient population including critically ill PICU and NICU patients with cardiac anomalies Experience with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators is central to daily practice Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30) 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule block 13-week contract Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, pediatrics, and ED Level IV NICU experience required (hard stop) Experience with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required (hard stop) Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies required (hard stop) Level 1 trauma experience required Active NC RRT license in hand at time of consideration (compact or NC state license); license required if applicable Required certifications in hand: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS 1 supervisory reference within the past year required for consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted; candidates within this radius are eligible at a modified rate Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted Orientations are held bi-weekly Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
