When you join us, you’re not just an employee, you’re a co‑owner in a company that’s built to last. Key Responsibilities Develop design documents per sales engineering and contract documents. Work with internal and external engineering teams to ensure designs are coordinated with budget and site conditions for a constructable and successful project. Plan, organize, and schedule the activities of construction managers and subcontractors to achieve project objectives. Liaise with building owner to facilitate construction activities. Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of Construction Manager and on‑site foreman to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potential serious situations and implement corrective measures. Represent company in project meetings, assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc. Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest while maintaining good relationships with clients. Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule, including interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, union officials, subcontractors, security, etc. Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to. Interpret policies as required. Maintain official project log and documentation files. Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required. Review contract to understand project requirements and constraints. Develop and send out bid requests to engineers, subcontractors, vendors, evaluating responses to award contracts based on price, value, experience, customer service, etc. Review engineering drawings to ensure proper system design meets customers’ needs and contract deliverables. Facilitate weekly project meetings and track action items. Plan risk mitigation throughout project lifecycle. Maintain construction documents via PlanGrid software to ensure operations team has the most recent documents. Track daily reporting, internal labor budgets, and open tasks on all projects to ensure timely completion. Forecast current and expected costs against budget weekly to ensure financial performance of projects. Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required Minimum 5 years experience managing commercial solar projects. Minimum 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. Successful pre‑employment drug test. Successful background check. Bilingual – English and Spanish a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and follow‑up skills required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. A strong work ethic and a high level of self‑motivation. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Participation in local community, non‑profit, or governmental activities/organizations for company business development and personal improvement.
