Job Description Job Description Hydro Testing Technician Tulsa area Weekend shift Pay is depending on experience. HireCall is seeking an experienced Hydro Testing Technician to perform hydrostatic pressure testing on heat exchanger bundles and related assemblies. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and workplace safety. Perform hydrostatic pressure testing on heat exchanger bundle assemblies according to company procedures, ASME standards, and customer specifications. Set up and operate hydro testing equipment, including pumps, gauges, valves, fittings, and related equipment. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, test procedures, and pressure specifications. Visually inspect components and use measuring devices to identify leaks, deformation, or other defects following testing. Maintain accurate testing records, logs, and reports for quality documentation and traceability. Communicate testing results with Quality Control and Engineering teams. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of hydro testing equipment. Follow all required safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE, and pressure safety practices. Assist with the assembly and preparation of heat exchanger bundles for testing. Identify and report non-conforming parts or assemblies. Work closely with production team members to maintain quality standards and meet production schedules. High School Diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of industrial manufacturing or pressure-testing experience preferred. Familiarity with hydrostatic testing procedures and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, engineering drawings, and blueprints. Basic understanding of pressure ratings, fluid dynamics, and testing principles. Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical equipment. Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills. Ability to work safely around pressurized equipment.
