Senior Merchandise Manager

Overview Diamonds International is seeking a talented merchandiser. Based in our Manhattan, New York Headquarters, this role reports directly to the Chief Merchandising Officer. This role is responsible for assortment strategy, inventory performance, and merchandise organization across a multi-location luxury retail business. The ideal candidate is a highly detail-oriented merchandising leader who brings strong analytical discipline, structure, and operational rigor. Core Responsibilities Brand Leadership — Own merchandising strategy and assortment architecture for the assigned brand Develop seasonal buy plans and manage SKU depth and productivity Drive sell-through, inventory turns, and margin performance Partner with retail leadership to optimize product performance Reorganize and standardize merchandise into clean, scalable data sets Establish clear SKU hierarchy and product categorization standards Strengthen reporting visibility and inventory analytics Partner with internal teams during ongoing ERP enhancements Support merchandise data accuracy within Oracle and related systems Contribute to data validation and system alignment as needed Qualifications 5 years of merchandising experience, preferably in luxury retail Experience owning a brand or major category in a multi-location environment Strong analytical and financial acumen Advanced Excel and reporting capability Experience working within Oracle or comparable ERP systems required Experience with converting data, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, moving data from flat files or legacy staging tables into Oracle staging tables for validation is a plus Ideal Candidate Luxury jewelry, fashion or timepiece experience preferred Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized Able to bring structure and process to complex merchandise environments Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels #J-18808-Ljbffr Diamonds International
