Remote General RadiologistWe are seeking a remote general radiologist to provide dedicated evening coverage for a high-volume imaging service based in Illinois. This opportunity offers a consistent and structured schedule, fully remote flexibility, and a strong support system.Position DetailsSchedule: Sunday through SaturdayHours: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM Central TimeCoverage: 7 days per week, 52 weeks per yearHoliday Coverage: Required if it falls within the assigned rotationEmployment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor or Locum arrangementModality MixCT: 44%X-ray: 40%Ultrasound: 8%MRI: 5%Nuclear Medicine/PET: 3%The role focuses on a broad range of general diagnostic reads, with emphasis on acute and emergent studies.Productivity and VolumeMinimum productivity: 82 RVUs per shiftEstimated annual study volume: 13,776High-efficiency workflows with technical support in placeTechnologyRPCE platformPowerscribe 4.0Integrated PACS and RISRemote IT support available during all shiftsQualificationsBoard Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or AOBR)Active Illinois medical license (or willingness to obtain)Proficiency in general diagnostic imaging and cross-sectional studiesPrior remote reading experience preferred but not requiredOpportunity Highlights100% remote work—read from anywhere in the U.S.Consistent, year-round evening scheduleWell-established system with dependable tech infrastructureLong-term opportunity with potential for ongoing extensions
