As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access control points, verify authorized personnel and visitor credentials, and document entries, incidents, and observations in accordance with site requirements. Communicate promptly with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, hazardous conditions, and incidents requiring follow-up. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
