Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

License: State License required

Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred ACLS BLS CRT

Must-Have: High School Diploma and College Diploma or transcripts required

Previous travel experience preferred

Description: Weekends required. 3x12-Hour Night Shifts. Floating between campuses may be required. Patient ratio not applicable. Equipment used includes GE Ventilators. Candidates must have the ability to perform various respiratory procedures. Candidates should be knowledgeable in adult critical care and related therapies. Experience with charting systems is a plus. Familiarity with patient diagnoses such as COPD, asthma, and cancer is advantageous. Ideal candidates will possess skills in equipment setup, arterial blood gas interpretation, and airway management. Candidates will provide pulmonary hygiene and manage tracheostomy care as needed. Travelers may need to float to other facilities as required. Compliance with fingerprinting processes is essential for credentialing. Two professional references will be required, including one from a leadership role. Candidates must have a valid state license in hand at the time of application. Education must be from an accredited program.
