The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating communication, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office environment. This position supports both internal and external stakeholders while assisting leadership in their daily responsibilities. We Offer You! Growth Potential Team-Oriented Environment What Success Looks Like: Coordinate office services, including personnel, meeting schedules, housekeeping, and record control. Prepare routine and advanced correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and timeliness. Assist accounting department with mailing invoices, checks, etc. Screen telephone calls, receive visitors, and resolve routine inquiries. Apply knowledge of department policies, procedures and support other departments as needed. Manage strategy and planning of meetings and special events. May be required to monitor and control event budgets and negotiate all necessary contracts. Relieve department leaders of administrative functions. Prepare and administer high-level management reports and presentations. Prepare workspaces for new employees and maintain a presentable office environment. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned. Your Credentials: Minimum of 1–2 years of office experience in a manufacturing environment or an Associate degree in Office Administration or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain credibility and confidentiality. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite. Ability to operate with a high degree of independence. Pay Range is $19.50 per hour to $26 per hour commensurate with experience. About Quanex,
