Human Resources Generalist II

The Mississippi Board of Nursing is seeking a Human Resources Generalist II to support the agency's human resources operations. This position reports to the Executive Director and assists with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, classification, salary review, benefits, performance evaluations, training, employee relations, and other HR functions. The HR Generalist II works closely with leadership, supervisors, and employees to help ensure HR processes are handled accurately, professionally, and in accordance with state and agency policies.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should be organized, professional, and comfortable working with confidential information. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and customer service skills, good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple HR tasks and deadlines. This position also requires the ability to interpret policies and procedures, work well with employees and leadership, and support a fair, consistent, and positive workplace environment.

Salary: $40,286.40 - $56,640.67 Annually
