Project Support Specialist

We are seeking a Lead Project Support Specialist to join the Wireless Implementation Team. This role focuses on managing accounts payable invoicing, vendor accounts, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial tracking, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support overall project budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices and change orders accurately within established timelines
• Manage project codes and funding across systems (Oracle, Sitetracker, Magnit, etc.)
• Oversee activation and closure of financial codes for projects and programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Analyze vendor agreements and monitor contract compliance
• Track project milestones, completion dates, and billing deliverables
• Maintain accurate financial records and support budget tracking
• Create and manage work orders and purchase orders
• Support onboarding and training of new vendors/suppliers
• Drive process improvements and maintain updated documentation
• Respond to internal and vendor inquiries using sound judgment and problem-solving

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field OR 3+ years of relevant experience (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Project Management, Business Operations, Telecommunications, etc.)
• Intermediate understanding of accounting principles and budgeting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools such as Oracle, Magnit, Client/Sitetracker, or similar systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in telecommunications or wireless industry (e.g., familiarity with major carriers)
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and manage complex tasks
