About the Position

Job Title: Neuro Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry nursing - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Use of rapid response/code teams - Peripheral line care/management - Oxygen administration - Non-invasive airway management Description: The Neuro Tele Registered Nurse will float between units as needed. Weekends are required, with 6 shifts per 6-week schedule. Expected patient ratio is 1:4. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 379 staffed beds. The unit provides care for various neurological and surgical patients. Nurses will work closely with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and social services. All staff must adhere to the dress code of solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs. This is a fast-paced environment that involves a high level of teamwork. Candidates must be experienced with electronic health records. New nurses will receive mentorship to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
