Registered Nurse – Adult Psych

Schedule

3x 12-hour shifts - Nights

Assignment Details

Must be willing to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required
• Valid State RN license required
• BLS certification required
• CPI trained
• 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• At least 1 year of previous nursing experience required
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage stress appropriately and set strong professional boundaries
• Self-directed, and able to stay busy during downtime

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for children and adolescents in an inpatient behavioral unit.
• Administer medications and provide education to patients.
• Document patient care and monitor behaviors throughout the unit.
• Participate in and lead education groups.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care.
