Friday: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM Saturday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM Sunday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM

What You'll Do as a Routing Specialist:

Route Management & Dispatch Coordination

• Coordinate and assign trips to drivers to maximize efficiency and service coverage.
• Monitor routes and transportation activity in real time.
• Adjust schedules and routing plans based on traffic, service demands, weather conditions, and operational needs.
• Communicate route changes, service updates, and important information to drivers promptly.
• Ensure trips are assigned accurately and completed according to service standards.
• Monitor vehicle availability and driver coverage to meet customer demand.

Driver Support & Communication

• Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers throughout their shifts.
• Provide guidance regarding routes, schedules, service expectations, and operational procedures.
• Assist drivers in resolving service challenges and transportation issues.
• Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
• Foster positive working relationships with drivers to promote operational success.

Customer Service Excellence

• Respond professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
• Communicate service updates and trip information clearly and effectively.
• Resolve customer issues quickly while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate with drivers and operations staff to ensure customer needs are met.

Operational Support & Performance

• Monitor daily service performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Track service metrics, trip completion rates, and on-time performance.
• Report service disruptions, delays, and operational concerns to management.
• Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and leadership teams to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Help maintain a high level of reliability, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications of a Routing Specialist:

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in routing, dispatch, transportation, logistics, customer service, call center operations, or fleet management.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with multiple monitors and software platforms simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
