The Industrial Maintenance Technician focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, food safety compliance, and minimizing downtime across mechanical and electrical systems.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on motors, drives, conveyors, and high-speed production machinerySupport food safety initiatives including HACCP, GMP, SQF, and sanitation standardsMaintain and calibrate food safety related instrumentation and product contact surfacesDiagnose equipment failures using observation, testing, and precision measurement toolsRemove, repair, or replace defective components using hand and power toolsFabricate repair parts using machine shop tools as neededCommunicate maintenance needs and downtime prevention practices with production teamsMaintain accurate maintenance documentation, reports, and work recordsMonitor and manage spare parts, tools, and supplies inventoryMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environmentSupport continuous improvement efforts and other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferredIndustrial maintenance experience preferred; extensive on-the-job training providedStrong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting abilityAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instrumentsAttention to detail with a strong safety mindsetAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skillsEnglish proficiency requiredMust be able to pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal screeningsEmployee must supply basic maintenance tools
